Your manifest above leaves me a bit confused. Your title juxtaposes Lewis and postmodern, yet the text of your article betrays Lewis as a critic of the modern rather than the post-modern.  To surreptitiously define diadic terms (&quot;good and evil, duty and taboo, vice and virtue, etc&quot;), even though the terms you choose don&#039;t even beolong in the same sentence, as &quot;the tao&quot; is just stupid, or maybe lazy or dishonest (depending on how intelligent you actually are).</description>
